I was saved about 9 years ago and before then I really didn’t have much to do with God. Oh, I went to church with my family on Christmas and Easter and all I really heard was the Charlie Brown School Teacher (wah wah wah waaaaah) but that was about it. Things are different now though. My fiancee and I attend church on Sundays, and, having just moved into a new house, am looking to getting into a Bible Study group as soon as I find one in which I belong. I know that God will tell me when I find the right one. I do as much reading on Christian subjects as I can and surround myself with fellow Christians to try to accelerate my relationship with God. I think I’ve got a lot of catching up to do!
Now, part of you may be saying that I don’t have enough experience with God to help you. That I’m perhaps not far enough along in my walk to be capable of any valuable input. If you are thinking that then please read on (actually, please read on even if you aren’t thinking that)!
I can be of great help for you and those you care about. I am able to combine my years of helping people as a Speech Therapist with my relationship with God to create a quite unique style of looking at things. I’m not offering counseling, I’m only offering to share my thoughts and views with you with the hope that something I put here will be of help to you. I hope you don’t allow my relative lack of experience with God to discourage you from reading.
I’ve never developed a website and have never written a blog before so please be patient while I learn the ropes. The website looks like not much of anything now but hopefully I can learn the program to spruce it up a bit. I really feel God leading me to do this and when He tells me to do something it is prudent to listen! That really goes for all of us, doesn’t it. All I ask is just to give me a chance to bring some enlightenment to your life and hopefully give you some tools so you can help those who are close to you.
I hope that you add me to your regular reading regimen, subscribe, and share. Please come back often and leave plenty of comments. With your feedback I can learn about how to blog and can learn how to steer the content of the website, so please lend a helping hand.
May God bless you every day and I pray that He enlightens you with new lessons regularly so that you can grow in your loving relationship with Him!
